In view of the globalizing world, the increasing role of ethnic entrepreneurial networks, unprecedented social and technological changes, the potential of Armenian Diaspora has become a major untapped force for Armenia's development.

It is a unique underutilized economic asset, if we abstract from other non-economic aspects. Self-organizing processes instead of chaotic, often fragmented efforts may turn the financial, intellectual, social and human resources of the Diaspora into a driving force for creating a national system modeled after a "hub-and-spoke" arrangement.
