Competitiveness is a major challenge facing Armenia's decision makers in both the private and public sectors. Attaining higher levels of competitiveness will determine whether Armenia can achieve sustainable and harmonious economic growth beyond that bolstered by remittances, foreign assistance and resource exploitation.
EV strives to foster in-depth dialogue and analysis on how to improve Armenia's competitiveness. EV has launched its flagship product - the National Competitiveness Report - Armenia (ACR), which is deemed to make important contribution to Armenia in several ways.

"For over three decades, the World Economic Forum has striven to provide an accurate assessment of national competitiveness through its research and publications. A national competitiveness report such as the Armenia Competitiveness Report produced and published by the Economy Values Research Centre is an important step in this undertaking, highlighting both the strengths that Armenia must build upon and the weaknesses to be addressed in order to achieve higher levels of prosperity. The World Economic Forum's Centre for Global Competitiveness and Performance supports such an endeavour as it will provide the business and public sectors alike with an important and useful benchmarking tool to advance the issue in Armenia."
Margareta Drzeniek Hanouz
Director and Senior Economist, The Centre for Global Competitiveness and Performance, The World Economic Forum
